<p align="center">Pelaksanaan shalat berjamaah telah dilaksanakan sejak zaman nabi Muhammad saw. Sejak itu pula imam dipimpim oleh seorang lelaki dengan ketentuan syarat sah untuk menjadi imam. Terdapat polemik tentang adanya pandangan kedudukan Imam perempuan jika bersamaan makmum lak-laki berawal dari apa yang dilakukan Profesor wanita di Amerika bagi jamaah laki-laki. Artikel ini mengkaji dalam perspektif hadis Rasulullah saw dan menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan tidak syah terdapat laki-laki dewasa.<strong></strong></p>
